Relief chauffeur
Your regular driver is ill, on holiday, or has just left? I step in — for a day, a week, or a month. In your own car, keeping to your routine.
In short: Jiří Horčička covers for your family or company driver when they are ill or on holiday — in your own car, from a single day to several weeks. An hour costs CZK 750 (minimum four hours), a full day CZK 7,000, and longer cover CZK 6,500 per day. No one around you need notice a stand-in is at the wheel.
Who it is for
For families and companies that have a driver — and suddenly do not. Illness, holiday, a resignation, or simply a day that calls for a second car and a second pair of hands. Instead of finding and training someone new, I step in and the day carries on as though nothing had happened.
How it works
We sit down over how your driver works: the usual routes and times, who gets in the car, where you park, what the family likes and does not. Half an hour is enough. Then I take over the car and the schedule — the school run, your meetings, a relative’s appointment — as reliably as the person I am covering for. I drive in a suit, discretion is a given, and I sign an NDA if you wish. Once the cover has run once, next time you simply call — I know where you park, how you drive and what each trip involves.
A driver of your own is a fixed cost — salary, contributions, holiday, sick leave. You pay for them even when they are idle. I am here only for the days you need to bridge — and I bill only the time actually driven.

FAQ
How quickly can you step in?
Depending on availability, often the next day; if your driver falls ill suddenly, even the same day (a same-day booking carries a 20% surcharge). The sooner you know — holidays are planned — the more firmly I hold the dates for you.
Can you handle our car?
Yes. I drive clients’ cars from compacts to full-size limousines, manual and automatic. I look after the entrusted car as if it were my own and return it in the state I received it.
What do you need to know in advance?
The usual routes and times, who gets in the car, where you park, and the household’s habits. Half an hour over your driver’s calendar and notes is enough for me to drive on day one as if I had been with you for years.
Does relief cover work long term?
Yes. I take a single day, a week, or several weeks at a stretch. For longer cover the daily rate is CZK 6,500; if you are looking for a permanent arrangement, move to ongoing cooperation.
Will people notice a stand-in is driving?
They need not. I drive your car, in a suit, with no outside markings. To neighbours, partners and children you have simply arrived with your driver. Discretion is part of the service, and I sign an NDA on request.
